Age Limits:
- Children under the age of 14 can only be included in the policy if their parent or guardian is also included in the policy.
- The maximum contractual age is 64 years. Once the contract is in place, there is no upper age limit for the policy to remain in force.
Waiting Periods
The waiting period is from the time of signing the medical contract, to the time that the particular medical services may be used.
The medical insurance does not cover pre-existing medical conditions that were known before the signing of the contract.

Yes. The Mundi 1 Million plan will cover you worldwide on a 90% reimbursement basis.
Are there any co-payments on the Mundi 1 Million plan?
No. There are no co-payments to pay with the Mundi 1 Million plan.
What are pre-existing conditions and how do they apply in the Mundi 1 Million plan?
Pre-existing conditions relate to previous pathologies prior to the date of you contracting the Mundi 1 Million plan. If you have declared any pre-existing medical conditions on your application for the Mundi 1 million plan one of our English speaking doctors will call you. From there a confidential personal assessment will be made, which will guarantee the fairest and most comprehensive assessment of your health.
Does the Mundi 1 Million plan cover antenatal care or childbirth?
Yes. The Mundi 1 Million plan covers antenatal care and childbirth (including caesarian sections) 100% within the Sanitas network and on a 90% reimbursement outside of the network or worldwide. Waiting periods apply.
